I am Abigail Fox also known as Abigail Mumba (legal name)

I am a fully qualified Systematic Kinesiologist. I am registered with the Association for Systematic Kinesiology (TASK) who have clear parameters about what we are and what we are not allowed to do. I participate in regular Continued Professional Development and I am fully insured with Balens. I offer face to face kinesiology sessions at my home clinic in Bristol, remote sessions and short online sessions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using www.abigailfox.co.uk you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms and conditions, please do not use this service.

What Happens to Your Data – your personal information is required to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and for the following reasons:

• Internal record keeping.

• We may use the information to improve our products and services.

• We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

• Very occasionally, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

10. Payment 

I expect to be paid no later than 24 hours before our appointment via BACS or at the end of our face to face appointment if this has been agreed. 

All relevant nutritional supplements charged separately 

11. Cancellations

If 48 hours or more notice is given, I will not expect you to pay for your session. If less than 48 hour’s notice is given I will expect you to pay for half the fee on the first cancelled session and the whole fee on any subsequent cancellations. If I fill your cancelled session I will not expect you to pay anything.

I will give you as much warning as possible when I go on holiday or if I need to cancel your appointment. 

I have the right to stop any session (even midway) where I feel my safety is threatened. 

12. Client Responsibility 

To accept responsibility for your own health and wellbeing, and for your participation in the methods, treatments, suggested lifestyle changes and nutritional suggestions made during your kinesiology sessions. To ask your GP’s advice if you are on medication before taking any of the recommended supplements.

How we store your personal information 

Abigail Mumba is committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and in person sessions.

Your information is securely stored. All paperwork (and any hair samples) is safely locked in a filing cabinet when not being used in sessions.

We keep your personal data including health information for 7 years from your last treatment. We will then dispose of your information by safely burning any paper records and deleting your email address from our mailing list.

Children’s paper records will be kept until they are 25, or 26 if they began treatment at 17.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. 

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

Practitioners rights

Please note:

If you don’t agree to your practitioner keeping records of information about you and your treatments, or if you don’t allow them to use the information in the way they need to for treatments, the practitioner may not be able to treat you.

Your practitioner must keep your records of treatment for a certain period as described above, which may mean that even if you ask them to erase any details about you, they might have to keep these details until after that period has passed.

Your practitioner can move their records between their computers and IT systems if your details are protected from being seen by others without your permission.
